Special Present!!
It's 2:14am Brisbane time now...and what am I doing? ....
Assignments, assignments and more assignments...
What a way to pass my night..
Received a msn message from Daniel. He said he's got something for me and will be sending it over soon! Sounds exciting! At least my night has got brighten up! Can't wait to receive the special present!! :)
Anyway have made myself a hot instant chicken soup. It's cold down here!! Not to mention the other hailstorm day....Brrrrr...

Candice the Chef
Was about to sleep soon but decided to login to blog!
Have just finished cooking tomorrow's lunch..guess what I've whipped up? Lemme call it fried noodles - Candice's experimental style. I've been cooking for our lunches in sch every Wed and Thurs and I kinda enjoy it...I've probably made cooking my new found hobby in Brisbane. haha. After years of watching my mum's cooking, I guess I have picked up a few pointers and recipes! hehe..I told daniel abt it and he asked me to cook for him when I'm back!
Meanwhile, I've been busy with lotsa assignments...hardly find time to relax..and am constantly tired. I can't wait for the holidays!!
ok..kinda sleepy right now..better go sleep! gotta wake up for sch early tomorrow! Cya!!

assignments assignments and more assignments
Here i am rotting away when i am supposed to be doing my assignment.
INFS3202 - Web Information System
Java...Servlet..all sounded so foreign to me. Actually I'm quite excited over learning Java and Servlets but time is so limited..the assignment's due in 2 weeks' time! Hadn't had the time to really play around with it ..my code is very messy now. Really spoils my mood to code any further. Moreover, my Oracle server is not up now so well..just rot for the time being...
CSSE3004 - Advanced IT Project
Life for this subject has changed a little. Our Project Manager is all hyped up now and making decisions like a real Project Manager! That's very good! Group discussions have been better although sometimes they still don't get what I meant. I'm kinda glad the beard guy wasn't there for a couple of meetings..at least no one is there to oppose me all the time. But well..I really hope he can be more accomodating and accept other people's ideas or opinions instead of thinking he is right all the time. Anyway most of his ideas are all almost crap! :P At least I thought so.
Today's discussion was a bliss..even though I had to explain my point till my mouth is dry. At least the P.M agreed and understood my point! :P I'm glad....Am looking forward to developing the pocket pc function!! Hope I am able to snatch that module successfully!!

This is a crap subject!! And the assignment is crap! But I love my team mates for this subject!! :P
Ok...I'm done with my ranting! Off to sleep liao! Goodnite everyone!

Happy Mother's Day!!
My mum just called to tell me that she received the durian cake from Angie's! AH!! Wish i can have a bite too!! hahaha yum yum...
These couple of days I've been in a Band music mood. It all started when I attended WIS lecture. In attempt to make the lecture time pass quickly, I started to hum Alvamar Overture!! It does really work! Last night had a download spree of band concert music...feels like I'm back to PL Band again...ahhh miss those days...
Ahh keke back to my assignment..JSP is totally new crap to me..am struggling but I will definitely see light soon! tata!

Complaint & Gossip Queen is back......
Haven't been writing for a long long time..my friend said i should just throw away my blog! haha! well, anyway I'm back! hopefully for good! haha...
Life, I can say, has been good! Have been in Brisbane for almost 4 months. School life is somehow sweet and relaxing yet so tedious. Lotsa deadlines and schedules to meet. Exams, test blah blah blah..Had my 1st test for INFS3222, didn't do very well though..it's tricky! And I'm still waiting for my results for INFS2200...hopefully can score better.
Advanced IT Project : We are supposed to develop a Pocket PC application for a restaurant! Mega glad that I have done that before at MTI!! Heard from Esther that Kok Wai is also very delighted that I'm working on a Pocket PC app here! So far he's the best Project Manager and I'm glad I had the chance to work with him!
On the other hand, my group for this project isn't very good. We are made up of 7 people - 4 locals, 3 Singaporeans (including me). The 2 other Singaporean guys were previously from Ngee Ann Poly and I'm glad I have them as my grp mates. They are quite focused and easy to work with. The 4 locals ain't that productive. They are mega slackers although they are really intelligent! From the latest deliverable due this morning, I realised they like last-min work. They were in the school lab rushing the report and one of them only started yesterday! what freak! They all looked so lost and didn't even know which part they were supposed to do. Gee..i'm glad the report is handed in on time. I don't dare to think what will happen for our next report which is the System Requirement Doc...They ain't that interested in meeting up for discussion as all of them are do part time work after school hours. That's really bad. Well, we'll see...
Haha enough of complaining....back to some gossips..Heard from Ser Nya that BH and Iris are together now! Haha..to think that I used to suspect something going on between the 2 of them! ahh but heard that their relationship ain't going that well. Iris is pretty demanding and BH is too much engrossed in his work and he appears to be a dull person. That is why she complains abt him being too boring for her liking. Well, as to why she accepted him is prolly like what Ser Nya had said abt her being desperate to get a bf. Anyway I cannot believe it when Ser Nya told me Iris is 28! She certainly didn't look like one! I've always thought she's only 24 or 25. Haha! Whatever it is...I guess the advice is never fall in love with an IT guy. He will bore u with this dry and technical terms, just like BH.
Well well, it's 3pm in Brisbane now and I'm waiting for class to start at 4pm. Tiring to wait! Haha these few days I've been in a downloading frenzy!! downloaded lotsa dramas...I haven't never download that much stuff in my life! haha I'm happy I have entertainment for my holidays!
Ah well, think i'll end here...will be back again! Tata!
