The bloody MSN Web messenger is driving me absolutely nuts! It's already disconnecting and having gateway problems. It might also have been the fault of the sluggish network connection here. *Sob sob..Where is MSN when I need it most? haha! Been absolutely unproductive today, feeling sleepy now and then. Cannot concentrate on my work man!! 25th Oct....it's approaching, nearer and nearer and WHAM! it's the coming MONDAY! I guess I'm gonna leave Derek to fend for himself during the UAT while I enjoy myself in Genting!! Wahahaha!! His turn now. Anyway I really doubt that I can complete everything nicely by Friday. I'll be cheating myself if I said I can. =P But I'll try my best, provided I don't feel sleepy. HELP! Anyone?? Pray for me! Pray that concentration & clear mind will come back to me!!

It's 05:29pm now and I'm cold and sleepy. Haha I'm gonna meet Gaurav for lunch tomorrow! He was totally shocked at the sight of my coconut hair!! =S He's working at a travel agency somewhere in Funan Centre! Gotta drill him to check if he can get cheap air tickets to brisbane!!! =D

Darn! MSN Web Messenger still cannot connect!! Ah nvm..it's forgiven. I'm just waiting for knock off time! I found out this week that I can work better at home! Strange thing. Probably it's the temperature. It's terribly + horribly freezing here! Now it makes sense why my brain is not working. Brain-freezed liao. =P

Lunch time is a breeze today because I only spent $2!!!! It's been quite sometime since I had a $2 lunch in the city!! wahahah! Feels GOOD! Wheeeeeee! KAKAKA!

*peeking...I'm in midst of working on the darn project. 25th Oct 2004 kept ringing in my head but yet I seem to be procrastinating. The mind is a bit lost and off-track. Backaches & neckaches are visiting. Castles are building in the air subconsciously. Time is pretty tight, given only 4 days to finish off the application. Users are demanding. No matter how much I adore compact framework, these factors really loosen the interest. Ah well, what to do. Just gotta accept as it is as it will be an acheivement for me to meet their expectations. I'm sure I'm will be able to...at least I hope.

Going Genting this coming Sunday. Kinda looking forward to it. Found it to be my source of relaxation during this time. A break is good to search for the lost mind and bring it back on track. Hope to chase backaches and neckaches away. But would still like to build castles in the air, probably gotta try to build it at the right time. Haha....Exciting! Can't wait!

Something stupid..eversince I spotted my coconut hairstyle. A few people have been mistaking me for their friend. Gee..for example this morning during user review. One of the users approached me after the demostration. She tapped me on my shoulder and called me Melissa. What?! Melissa? Who? Haha! I gave her a very blank look. Then she asked me, "You are not Melissa? I thought you were my friend!" Haha I'm in awe...are there many people out there who spotted coconut hairstyle too? Haha maybe it's not that bad afterall as it seems coconut hairstyle is quite popular! hahah! =P

Accompanied Daniel to tampines to shop for his work clothes just now. I told myself I should refrain from spenting and guess what? I too bought some clothes. What the heck! Just couldn't control myself!! I don't know I can refrain myself from spending. Cut up my ATM cards? Lock myself at home? I don't know man! I shall face the wall to think about it.

Anyway went eat nasi lemak at Changi Village with Daniel after shopping! Gee..my 1st time eating the so-called famous nasi lemak there! Well, the nasi lemak's not bad! Yum yum! the chilli is sedap!

My gosh! I just saw Francis (my Dad's 3rd sista's hubby) at the lift lobby a moment ago! Man! Lucky he didn't see me, or else who knows what tall tales he would tell my Dad's family. Haha! My Dad's family is a bunch of noseyparkers, I'm sad to say.

Miss me? Haha i'm finally back after some donkey days! Furthermore it's the last day of the week!! Supposedly a wonderful day but I'm feeling extremely sleepy. Believe me, my eyes are barely open now and I'm yawning profusely! *yawn yawn yawn yawn yawn..........

Some updates : relatively busy week at work. The stupid general and household module is driving me crazy, mainly due to poor performance on the darn pocket pc, resulting in re-coding all of the codes calling to the database. Today after many makeovers, the application is much faster. I'm glad but there are still bugs here and there and there will be a user review on Monday! What the heck! After these 2 years of application development, I think I can proclaim myself a "Microsoft Certified Application Pest Buster (MCAPB)". Anyone interested in this new certification can come to me. I charge NO fee!! =P hahaha!!

My brain lack oxygen today or what! Extremely sleepy and a blank mind. Haha no brain power to start working now although I'm sitting right in front of my PM. Haha! My sitting partner is on M/C today. Heard she has diarrhoea (don't know how to spell). Hope she's fine man! I was on M/C yesterday too for no good reason, I'm just too tired to work yesterday! haha well, I guess I should have taken M/C today as it's seems like I won't be productive today too, judging from my chain yawning.

Past 2 weeks ago, I heard from SIR INK that Mel has resigned from Avanade. Past few days ago, Shadey told me he also had resigned from Avanade. Wow, is that a chain cycle or what? Avanade to me is already the greenest pasture I can aim for and they are leaving Avanade for even even greener pasture than my greenest pasture. Wow! I'm freaked. I'm not sure if you understand what I am typing. Haha nonetheless, I'm truely happy for them!! It's time for them to change environment too I guessed! That Shadey has been pretty secretive about his new workplace. Wonder wonder... Haha will be drilling him for some answers soon!

Gee..the person from Great White Walls called me up 2 days ago. I wonder why and I wonder if i'm right about his motive for calling. I shan't talk about it so much here as issue's quite sensitive. haha but I hope I will prevail! Haha wish me luck man!

Oh yah..I haven't had the time to dwell on Sims2 these days, mainly clogged up by work. Yesterday Daniel passed me a set of new adds-on for the game. Hope I have time to work on it soon!!

Howdy! It's been a horribly busy week, pin down by work. Despite that, I think I still can find some joy in my work. Deadline has been real tight, having to strive to towards this coming fri for my 1st completion. I have to admit - it's been exciting though I rarely show such enthusiasm towards work or studies. Are you wondering why?? Hahaha! Well, of course! It's the changed ME! The change of job environment has got me to change my attitude towards certain things. I guess it's definitely a good sign.

On the other hand, the need to dress well for work totally freaks me out. I have been dressed in black 99% of my days since I started work at MTI. I think I freaked my colleagues out. Really missed those days which I can dress down in jeans and t-shirts for work!

Something to be happy or worried abt...and I'm playing nonchalant. I was credited full salary for 3-day work by the white walls which probably was a mistake. Nonetheless I hope they will never ever find out!! hahaha! kinda bad but well...HECK CARE. =P It's their mistake anyway. =)

The Sims 2. The addiction. Haha. I posted a new Sim yesterday. She's dressed in a long black tube dress with a striking pink stripe along the seam line. Smooth! This time I am trying to create an oriental face. But well.. seems like it's not that successful as it still looked caucasian. Gonna try when I got the time.

Gee..it's Thursday tomorrow. Closer to Friday's deadline. =S Give me support man! Friday will determine my ability to produce a good piece of work! =D
